An impromptu salsa dance number surprised guests when Cool Ken and Hot Li displayed their footwork abilities at last Wednesday's second week run of the ongoing wine pairings event. The dance instructors are salsa specialists but also teach merengue and bachata. Their Merengue/Bachata Workshops are coming soon to Reka's Thai Restaurant. Call (914) 498-9289 for more information.
For the Classic Royal Thai Cuisine and Unique Boutique Wine Pairings, classic royal Thai appetizers specially selected by Reka are paired with fun and accessible wine handpicked by wine expert, Stu Levine, of Vino 100. For $10++, guests can choose one appetizer from a special menu plus
three 3-oz. servings of white or red wine that complement it. Members and guests of Out Professionals and F-SIX kicked off the event last April 14. All are welcome to partake of the samplings for two more Wednesdays (April 28 and May 5), 6-8pm.
